Humanitarian Works by Dera Sacha Sauda: For Development of Society

Dera Sacha Sauda is an organization which is respected for its spiritual and social welfare activities. The organization work as a confluence of all religions and never ask any devotee to change his/her religion to join the organization.


Dera welcomes everyone no matter what religion, color, caste or nationality. They just seek out for true devotees. 

The Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa was founded on 29th April 1948 by Spiritual Master Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj

The Spiritual Master Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj then appointed Param Pita Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj as his successor on 28th February 1960. 

And after three decades, on 23rd September 1990, Param Pita Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj announced Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, as his successor. The Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan is the present Spiritual Master of Dera Sacha Sauda.

And he is not just a spiritual Master who comforts his beloved ones by his words and spirituality. He watches after them in the best possible way. He provides them with education, environmental awareness, sports activities participation and much more.

His Holiness Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan does NOT ACCEPT financial benefits from the organization’s funds for his personal requirements. His personal expenses are taken care of by money earned through his hard work.

Dera is known for its participation in many welfare activities and Humanitarian works:


Under the pious guidance of Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, Dera Sacha Sauda is marching ahead with 133 humanitarian works that include- blood donation, body donation, eye donation, skin donation, bone donation, rehabilitation works, extending monetary help to the needy, Providing food, clothes & shelter to the needy, stop prostitution, tree plantation, Animal welfare, etc.
